6U VPX-REDI Quad-Core PowerPC Multi-Processing Engine with Serial RapidIO

The MPE730 is a VPX-REDI quad-core processing board with dual mezzanine sites and on-board Serial RapidIO® fabric connectivity. Utilizing dual Freescale Power ArchitectureTM MPC8641Ds, the four cores provide significant processing power while still meeting rugged, extended temperature convection and conduction-cooled requirements. Combining this processing power with the flexibility of dual PMC/XMC sites and the Serial RapidIO (sRIO) fabric enables powerful subsystems to be deployed and customized for a variety of applications.
